Sounds like a way to get women to work for even less money by calling it a "fellowship" and paying a "stipend". Why can‘t they just flat out hire a woman who wants to return to the workforce and fire her if it‘s not working out? Companies need to stop punishing women for taking time off. They are either qualified, and will perform, or they are not. I think programs like this may actually turn the clock back when it comes to creating an equal playing field in the corporate world.

As a female minority attorney I was continually rejected by Amazon over the years the few times I applied. Now, they are suddenly interested in women? How about minority women? I have been at a major corporation for a few years now. I am grateful that others have had the vision that Amazon has not.

Sounds like a temporary attorney role to me, except with an additional fee.
