    I love the corp 1 percenters who call suits over pay inequality frivolous as though they never discriminate and when confronted they always apologize and pay back pay! If policies in a company allow managers to give raises to people like themselves, and that turns out to cause unjustified disparity, why not admit and fix instead of blaming the victim? Calling it frivolous is bad for employee moral and for profits, although it can be great for lawyers!

  • As rock philosopher Alice Cooper ineloquently said, "Only women bleed." And unless and until that is no longer the case, women‘s and men‘s pay will never be precisely equal. So let‘s all stop pretending that it could (or should) be.

    I am Lily Ledbetter, and yes, it does matter and it is about time.

    Obama‘s executive order is an unfortunate intrusion in to a field already adequately covered by federal law and the exegencis of the marketplacde. And based on his recycling of the old canard about women making 77 cents for every dollar a man makes, you know Obama is playing politics, as usual. This is all about keeping women on the Democrat plantation, not about empowering women.
