Companies and their leaders need to tread carefully to ensure that their personal political activities don’t become dangerously entwined with the corporation in a way that breaks the law, or even just hurts the company’s reputation.

Dear Brian:I don‘t have to ‘get over‘ anything. You‘ve spent the last eight years hating Obama and now you will spend the next eight years hating Hillary. You‘re the one that must get over it, my friend. GOP = party of angry, bitter white people.

Corp Counsel. You can do better. Why not title "Is It So Wrong for the CEO to Hold a Presidential Candidate Fundraiser"? That is, why focus on Trump when HRC is just a bad:washingtonpost.com/opinions/clintons-inexcusable-willful-disregard-for-the-rules/2016/05/25/0089e942-22ae-11e6-9e7f-57890b612299_story.htmlnytimes.com/2016/05/26/us/politics/state-department-hillary-clinton-emails.html?hp&action=click&pgtype=Homepage&clickSource=story-heading&module=first-column-region®ion=top-news&WT.nav=top-newspolitico.com/story/2015/05/bill-and-hillary-clinton-made-roughly-25-million-in-speeches-since-2014-118009washingtonpost.com/politics/clinton-foundation-received-subpoena-from-state-department-investigators/2016/02/11/ca5125b2-cce4-11e5-88ff-e2d1b4289c2f_story.htmlfactcheck.org/2015/06/where-does-clinton-foundation-money-go/washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2015/12/22/charity-watchdog-removes-clinton-foundation-from-its-watch-list/com/2015/04/26/charity-watchdog-clinton-foundation-a-slush-fund/Clinton Russianytimes.com/2015/04/24/us/cash-flowed-to-clinton-foundation-as-russians-pressed-for-control-of-uranium-company.htmlClinton Chinanytimes.com/1998/05/18/us/clinton-says-chinese-money-did-not-influence-us-policy.htmlTrump has said troubling things.Hillary has actually DONE troubling things.

Apparently, these "laws" don‘t apply if you work for a television network, record company or Hollywood film studio.Oh, and "Native Texan" - get over your feelings. BHO has been a walking, talking, insult to the entire nation for almost 8 years. Talk about mentally ill, the guy is trying to bring down the greatest society devised in the history of mankind.

  • Native Texan

Not illegal. Just amazingly stupid that a CEO does not understand that Trump is toxic and possibly mentally ill. Trump has insulted everyone except white non-disabled males who have not been prisoners of war.
